Overview of Saraswati Mahavidyalaya
Institutional Profile
Established under the founding ideals of 'Saraswati Krida Parishad' (est. 2005) to provide accessible, high-quality, and values-rooted higher education to all aspiring students, Saraswati Mahavidyalaya at Sendri (Koni), Bilaspur is a center of academic excellence and character building.
Campus construction began in 2018, catalyzed by a major CSR grant of ₹90 Lakhs from SECL (South Eastern Coalfields Ltd), alongside generous contributions from philanthropists and citizens of Bilaspur. Through this collective community endeavor, the expansive ground floor academic building was completed in 2024. The college was granted official recognition by the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Chhattisgarh and affiliation by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur on 16 August 2022.

Expansive outdoor sports grounds and dedicated sports hostel facility operated under the aegis of 'Saraswati Krida Parishad' (est. 2005) fostering athletic talent.
